Jaylen Wright rushed for 107 yards as the Miami Dolphins beat the New York Jets 34–10, delivering a dominant win that strengthened their position in the AFC race.
Wright's hard running down the hill set the tone for Miami early on. He could break tackles and get extra yards, which helped the Dolphins keep the ball and get their offense going. The Jets had a hard time stopping him all afternoon, and his play right away gave Miami a boost of confidence.
Wright's 20-yard touchdown run in the first half got the Dolphins going, and they then settled into a balanced style of offense. Miami's commitment to the run kept New York's defense on its toes, which made it easier for short and medium passes to get through and keep the Jets guessing.

Wright was able to do his job because the Dolphins' passing game made smart throws and decisions that kept Miami's drives going for a long time. The Dolphins had been trying to do this in their last few games: not turning the ball over kept the offense in sync and let them take advantage of good field position.
Miami's defense also helped a lot by always putting pressure on the Jets and stopping them from getting any momentum. The Jets had a hard time running the ball because the defensive front was so strong. The coverage downfield was also very good, making it hard for New York to find open passing lanes.
Late in the second quarter, Miami forced a fumble deep in Jets territory. This was a big deal. The Dolphins quickly turned the turnover into points, which gave them a bigger lead and full control of the game. From that point on, Miami set the pace and rhythm for both teams.
In the second half, Wright kept making plays by getting yards after contact and keeping the Dolphins ahead of the chains. Miami was able to keep the offense balanced and control the clock because he was always making plays. As time ran out, this made it harder for the Jets to fight back.
The Jets worked hard to stay in the game, but they couldn't keep their drives going. New York couldn't match Miami's execution because they missed chances in the red zone and their protection wasn't always good. They only scored one touchdown, and it was late in the game when the Dolphins were already in charge.
Miami scored a rushing and a throwing touchdown in the second half, which helped them win and showed that their offense was more complete. The offensive line played one of its best games of the season, giving Wright space and making sure the quarterback had good pockets to throw from.
Miami's special teams made things even better. The Dolphins always won the battle for field position because their coverage was so good and their kicking was so reliable. These small advantages were important for keeping the Jets under pressure the whole game.
The Dolphins' win moved them up in the AFC standings and gave them the boost they needed to get through a tough part of the season. Wright's great play gave Miami's backfield a new spark, and the team's overall discipline and execution were good signs of progress. The Jets' loss made them realize that they need to work on their offense if they want to be more consistent.
Wright’s 107-yard effort showcased a level of strength and explosiveness that added a new dimension to Miami’s offense during a crucial point in the season.
His emergence gives the Dolphins greater balance, providing stability in the run game as they push for a stronger position in an increasingly competitive AFC race.
